Accessing Social Security Records (CNAS & CASNOS)

Verify your insurance status and download affiliation certificates for CNAS and CASNOS directly through the dzds.dz portal.

For both salaried employees and self-employed individuals in Algeria, proving your social security affiliation is frequently required for administrative files, bank loans, and healthcare reimbursements. The dzds.dz portal provides a unified access point to interact with both the CNAS (Caisse Nationale des Assurances Sociales des Travailleurs Salariés) and the CASNOS (Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale des Non-Salariés).

What Documents Can You Obtain?

Once you log in to the portal, navigating to the Social Security (Sécurité Sociale) section allows you to:

  • Attestation d'Affiliation (Affiliation Certificate): This is the most common document requested. It proves that you are currently registered and insured under the social security system.
  • Attestation de Mise à Jour (Update Certificate): Primarily for CASNOS members (self-employed/business owners), this document proves that your social security contributions are paid and up to date, which is mandatory for bidding on public contracts or renewing commercial registers.
  • Check Your Work History: You can often view your declared career history to ensure your employer has been accurately declaring your working days.

How to Request an Affiliation Certificate

  1. Log in to the official dzds.dz portal.
  2. Select the "Sécurité Sociale" tab.
  3. Choose either CNAS or CASNOS, depending on your employment status.
  4. You will be prompted to enter your Social Security Number (Numéro de Sécurité Sociale - NSS), which is different from your NIN. You can find your NSS on your Chifa Card.
  5. Click to generate the "Attestation d'Affiliation".

Using the Chifa Card Digital Space

It is worth noting that while dzds.dz acts as a central hub, CNAS also operates a dedicated digital space called "El Hanaa." El Hanaa offers more granular details regarding medical reimbursements, sick leave tracking, and pharmacist transactions. However, for quick administrative certificates, the main dzds portal is often the fastest route.

If the portal states you are not affiliated despite being employed, you must address this immediately with your employer or visit the local CNAS agency, as this indicates your social contributions are not being paid. For further help, refer to the Official Contact Channels.
