The foundation of Algeria's digital services is the "Bawabatic" (My Portal) system. Whether you need a birth certificate or a judicial record, you must have a verified account on dzds.dz. This account links your digital identity to your physical records via your National Identification Number (NIN). Here is how to set it up securely.

What You Need Before Starting

Before visiting the official portal, ensure you have the following at hand:

• Your Biometric ID Card or Passport: You will need your 18-digit National Identification Number (NIN), which is printed on your biometric ID (Carte Nationale d'Identité Biométrique Electronique) or biometric passport.
• A Valid Email Address: You must have access to this email to receive the activation link.
• An Algerian Mobile Number: The system often requires phone verification for added security (SMS OTP).

Step-by-Step Registration

1. Visit the Official Portal: Open your browser and navigate to exactly dzds.dz. Ensure the connection is secure (look for the padlock icon).
2. Click 'S'inscrire' (Register): On the homepage, locate the registration button. The interface is primarily in French or Arabic.
